Re: "A snowy Christmas Eve in Cape Cod"

What I really want is a post card like the one for Halloween. Is there one about which you know? This information, along with work and life, has overloaded my brain.

no emote with a face and smoke coming from brain.

I love how you call Angel Boochiboo, ILG! I have last year's winter Angel consolation pin that I got from a trade with a Japanese pin trader and it's super cute but very small.

Thanks for posting those items, DuffyD! You're right, they're pretty awesome.

I don't know about you all but I'm having a tough time finishing my list without knowing for sure what we might be missing. Gosh, I hope for a site update soon!

If someone has already asked this question, I apologize. I keep flipping back and forth between pages as folks ask questions.... Anyway, what is the rouind pastry-looking item above the chocolates / tin and the candy jar? Is it the "Duffy cake" to which several folks have referred? Thanks.....

Yes, that's a Baumkuchen, "king of cakes," even more so in Japan than its European home, I'd wager. Click this LINK to learn more about baumkuchen in Japan, and you'll be pleased to know that OLC's baumkuchen is produced by the original Juchheim bakery which first brought the cake here nearly a century ago.

Yes, and YES! Also, what about the Disney Store stuff? I thought you'd be over the moon? You guys understand that I'm saying you can WishList Disney Store stuff, too, right? Plus any of the stuff I posted in the TDR "Christmas 2013" thread. Just please let me know if there are items you want and I'll take the time to make them into WishList format.^^

I do love the Disney Store stuff! Thanks for posting it. I especially like the gloves and the cape scarf. Do you know what the lil snowmen/ gingerbread men are ( the Mickey/Minnie ones) are on your TDR link, DuffyD? Are they bag straps? I love those too! Gosh, that's awesome to offer us other Disney shopping!

Um...there are lots of snow/gingerbread Mickeys and Minnies. Please quote, and then copy/paste here (or just copy/paste the image URL here) so I know exactly what you're asking about?

I think Boog may be referencing the ones at the bottom right of the page (hopefully the paste worked)

Re: "A snowy Christmas Eve in Cape Cod"

I'm interested in the pull string things. What description would be used for these? Are they able to be placed on the wish list?

At least I think you would pull the string from the bottom and the arms and legs would raise.

Re: "A snowy Christmas Eve in Cape Cod"

Wow! How do those who live in Japan and don't need to ship ever pick what they want? Everything has great detail, Minnie on nail polish bottles. Too cute. I'm loving all the red and white. What's up with the disney store stealing our snowbear lights? lol I got so many compliments form CM at the Halloween party when I had on my duffy pumkin.

Thank you DuffyD for all the work you have done in posting and being so excited. It's fun to share with people who really care about Duffy. Some people still don't get it, they just need more time.

    SCT Cookies ¥1300

Disney Store items should use the preface "DSTO," and I'm posting this here from the TDR boards because I want to be sure you guys see it. I was delighted by it, anyway:

DSTO Mobile Stand - Donald ¥2730
DSTO Mobile Stand - Goofy ¥2730

But many of you with a keen eye are probably more excited about those "up-top" Plugys, especially for the price:

    DSTO Plugy -(*Character) ¥525

*Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Sulley w/ Mike, LGM, OSWALD
**I imagine there will definitely be at least one more Chip&Dale version, but it's not shown, so...
