Re: Passing the time until a Christmas update......

Maybe it was a fake, or maybe my crappy memory. Anyway, the colors are WAY nicer than I thought. What I'm thinking of was very, very different. It might just be memory, though. Thanks for all the clearing up, guys!^^

I have seen the Mickey Santa holding Duffy at the Christmas shop, so I hope it will be soon. I will be in the parks a couple of times each week for the next month or so. I will post as soon as I see it. (If no one finds it sooner).

DuffyD, I sort of think I remember what you're talking about with the bleeding and printed. I think it was those scatter print hoodies that they had on the smaller predressed bears. Otherwise, I'm not sure what it was.

I kind of like that sweater, but not the hat so much. It's too big for my tastes, plus, like Aimster, I have other sweaters for Duffy...but it's kind of tempting.

Oh, and that elf costume is really cute. I remember when they announced it, and this is actually one I am highly tempted to buy.

The Elf is AWESOME! It...looks...like really high quality, too. The image is small, but if what looks like decorative stitching and embroidery really are sewn on, I'm tempted as well. Anybody know pricing for this?

I'd be willing to bet it'll be $30 and will be sold in a box, just like the Peter Pan costume. Here's the link from the Disney Parks Blog announcement: New Holiday Merchandise for 2013 on the Horizon at Disney Parks « Disney Parks Blog

Re: Passing the time until a Christmas update......

Peter Pan was originally retail $30? I only ever saw it for $50+… This Elf is totally worth $30. I could see the details much better in that link. Thanks, TFS. It really looks great. Even the sewn-on belt has real shape and uses different fabric than the jacket, so it looks good. No element is printed. It's all stitched and embroidered. Even the pants appear to be knit in two colors, not printed. If the actual product looks just like this photo, I'd say Disney is on a fantastic new course. How did I not see this earlier? Thanks for putting a spotlight on this, guys. It really is great. I actually see no shortcomings or "if-buts" whatsoever. I just it.^^

It really is cute. It reminds me a lot of Will Ferrell's costume from Elf. I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality there.

I am very surprised at the amount of detail on the Elf costume. It definitely is one costume I would be willing to buy. It's very cute and doesn't seem cheap like the other costumes Disney has brought out. I am hoping this costume is an introducer to better things to come for Duffy quality wise. =D

So I have decided to help me pass the time I will sit here and watch youtube videos of Tokyo DisneySea Duffy shows. =D Even though I can't speak Japanese they are still adorable to watch. ^.^

Yep. And it sold out fast, which is probably why you saw the $50+ prices. My mom was lucky to snag one for me when she & my dad went to DTD one afternoon last January. She texted me asking if I'd like one and I said yes right away. My Duffy likes to use it with the bow & arrows from Shellie's Merida costume and say he's "Robin Hood" instead.
