Disney Losing Creativity?

I've been noticing a pattern in not all, but a good amount of Disney decisions lately.

In the Parks, they keep adding new characters to classic rides.

For new movies, they keep moving a classic story along in a cheesy direction. They don't even make it into theaters.

This all is proof of a lack of creativity.

They can't think of a new creative ride, so they just add on to a classic one, which isn't good at all.

They can't think of new creative movies, so they just continue classic storylines or keep making movies about talking dogs (my gosh, there are two new ones coming out. enough already! Maybe talking dogs were cool, hmm idk 30 years ago!!!)

Pixar on the other hand, is VERY creative.

Really if it wasn't for Pixar, disney's movie business would be finished. Just think of the Disney-only movies in the past years. Yes some have been really successful(i.e. pirates), but a lot (home on the range, chicken little, etc.) just get forgotten.

Disney isn't supposed to be a company that makes forgettable movies.

AND ONE MORE TIME, ENOUGH WITH THE TALKING DOGS!! PLEASE!! OMG...

Re: Disney Losing Creativity?

Disney animation has been hurting for a while, but I am not in total agreement that the parks are in dire straights.

They bought Pixar! That's a win!

People rightfully have complaints, but there is still a great deal of imagination and innovation that find their way into the park.
