What fairy tale would you like to see Disney do?

Ok, so Disney is returning to doing classic fairy tales with the Rapunzel Movie that is due out in 2006.

What other tales would you like to see Disney do?

I think that Rumplestilskin would be fun, same with Beowulf, and (since Dreamworks has done such a good job of parodying Disney stuff), maybe a Puss in Boots movie.

Thoughts?

I don't know if it counts as a fairy tale, but several years ago, a good friend turned me onto the musical "Once On This Island", and it seemed a perfect Disney story to me, though they might feel the need to rework the ending. But I love that story.

My vote is for Thumblina. I really liked that story as a child, I would love to see it with a hint of disney magic. The old magic, why would they ever want to change something that wasn't broken in the first place?

I know, I know the mighty dollar....blah blah blah!

Re: What fairy tale would you like to see Disney do?

I'd like to see the Snow Queen One of my favorite tales as a child There was annother great one too called the lonesome dragon I just loved when I was little. It was about a girl who one night is turned into a horrible dragon and forced to flee her kingdom by her wicked witch of a stepmother. Believing the dragon has eaten his princess, her bethrothed sets off to slay the fearsome beast until he is confronted by a merlin-like wizard who tells him he must do no such thing, but treat the creature with love and kindness, and feeding it milk until after a while the spell is broken and his princess steps out of the dragon skin and together they save her kingdom & live happily ever after whereas the evil queen's spell id reflected and accidentally turns herself into a frog
