Core taking 'Liberty' with Touchstone

Cinematographer-turned-director Ericson Core has signed on to direct "Liberty," a big-budget action movie for Touchstone Pictures being produced by LivePlanet. The story, which takes place after an electromagnetic pulse disables the infrastructure of the country, revolves around a ragtag group of Americans who must use technology from the 1940s and '50s to defend against a foreign invasion. LivePlanet's Sean Bailey wrote the script and is producing with Chris Moore. Andrew Marlowe did a rewrite. Jason Reed is overseeing for Touchstone. (Borys Kit)
