Arrested development

Any fans here? I have season one on DVD and have watched all of season two so far and I think it's the funniest show on television show right now.

I'm a total fan. I've watched the entire season 1 on DVD and Tivo all the new ones. Such clever writing. It sort of reminds me of a modern version of "Soap". Remember that show? The characters are so over the top, but done in a very real sort of way. The Ron Howard dead pan narration really sews it all together for me.

I could watch just this show (and Will and Grace) and be happy.

Bookmarked.
Nice!

The writing on this show is really the star here. I love how funny this show is. All of the characters are well written.

The mom is just so very evil. Love her!

The writing on the show never ceases to amaze me. I love how they tie in so many different plots and the constant throwaway lines. Have you seen the episode in season two where lindsay and g.o.b. are doing their chicken dance? I would like to get that as my user picture.

My favorite episode is the one with the blue man group in it... how the man keeps trying to be blue.... and gets the whole point wrong..

Then the new "home" falls appart and the family gets laughed at....

Great writing...

I've watched the show every once in a while and I think it's funny, but no one else that I know gets it. They all say it's too fast paced, and there are too many things going on. David Cross is great on there.

Here in the Uk I gave up chasing it around the schedules (and in some cases, channels) and bought the Region 1 Season 1 set instead.

The show is great and rewards the viewer for actually paying attention, as opposed to just letting it wash over you.
However, it looks like I missed the boat when it comes to BitTorrenting Season 2...

We're HUGE fans here! The OP site is one of my daily sites I check!

Every week my favorite character changes.....I freaking LOVE the kid who plays George Michael. His facial expressions crack me up. He's just such a schmo.

GOB is a big favorite.....we love him! And the fact that he's married to Amy Pohler from SNL in real life makes him my husband's hero. My husband has a huuuge Amy crush.

Tobias and Lucille and probably my two favorites.....and the dynamics between all of them are freaking priceless.

The writing is so amazing. I've never been let down by an episode. I can't wait to buy this season on DVD, too. I know I miss so many funnies because they go by so quickly (going to the OP site helps though)! We've watched the first season all the way through several times now. It's my favorite DVD set, I think. Even better than Strangers With Candy.

Tobias Funke: I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, and now I've got a bit of a mess on my hands.
Michael: There are just so many poorly chosen words in that sentence.

I love Tobias
