Cinderella 2
Tarzan and Jane
Hunchback 2
101 Dalmations 2
Kronks New Groove
etc etc etc.....

STOP!

I think my main issue is this- Disney should be known for making new and innovative stories for the big screen. Classics- something unique and special- they should NOT be known for the cheap DVD knock off.

The latest and biggest offender in my home? The Princess Enchanted Christmas thing they were pushing for the holidays. I got it with Cinderella. It was horrid! There was some weird computer animated opening, but otherwise the characters are not even animated, outside of their faces. They just sit there- it's wretched. Honestly. Then there are no new animated sequences- just old rehash of things like Beauty and Beasts Enchanted Christmas. Some old cartoon, and then what looked like a read along story for Ariel.

It honestly made me leave the room- my daughter, who is not too discerning about these things, said it was ok- but she is not asking to watch it again.

It's like a plague.

Y'all remember Lion King II and I.5? I believe those two set the industry standard for smelly puke-covered refuse.

You're absolutely right Neph. And the pathetic part about this is....they should be able to come up with OTHER ideas, instead of trying to cheaply produce knock-off products based on an original GOOD idea that people are familiar with.

It screams "WE DON'T GIVE A RATS A-- ABOUT QUALITY!! WE WANT ALL OF YOUR FRICKIN MONEY AND WE'LL TRAMPLE ANY GOOD STORY LINE INTO THE GROUND TO GET IT."

Here's hoping that Mr. Lasseter might be able to drive the money hungry story whore mongers out of the company!!

Nononono... that movie was based on The Seven Samurai. It just happened that Magnificent Seven was a remake of Seven Samurai. Just as Three Amigos and Galaxy Quest was!

Hubby and I saw the billboard for Bambi 2 and all we could think of was a little deer tanked up like Rambo, with ammo belts across his chest, going after that hunter. It's payback time!

I'm not a fan of sequels.
