Love the pics DP and pveticket!!!!

I'm soooooo trying to figure out how to play hookie from work one day this week so I can go visit the Pearl!

Wow, this is amazing. Thank you guys for the shots, it's really something to see the Pearl next to modern-day power boats, lol. Not to mention it looks like such a small operation. A huge film shown worldwide, and they operate out of a tent with extras and actors walking around everywhere. I don't know what I was expecting, but it's just so much more quaint than I thought.

I was out there last week also, so when I get a moment I'll post some of my pics. Bummer to hear that it's gone. I was hoping to catch Johnny. He was signing autographs the night before we went.

I'm so sorry it's gone already! We were thinking of taking my daughter on Saturday to see the Pearl.

Oh well, we can always enjoy the movies!

The Pearl is back in San Pedro and they are doing some filming here. Back in the same dock it was originally. I havent been over there for a Johnny spotting, but there is some filming going on.

Hyperbole, you can always head over here to see it!

No idea sorry.

It turned up yesterday. Last time it was here for over a month, but that was when they were fixing it up for filming. I assume if it is here tomorrow it will be here for the weekend as well. I am going to Disneyland all day tomorrow so I may not be able to check if it is still here (I can walk across the street to see it.. I know hard life!). But possibly I will be able to check Saturday morning and report back here if you are planning on heading down.

The other choice is you could call Spirit Cruises, they do cruises around the harbor and will take you past the Black Pearl. We did it a few weeks ago, I posted about it. It is well worth it to see it so close.

Sorry I couldnt really answer your question. I will check when I can and report back!

No worries, I appreciate your response though!!! The Sprint Cruises sounds like a great way to see the ship, since the berth in San Pedro is rather hard to get a good view.

if i wasnt in the middle of packing I would go down to redondo beach

hey i am going on saturday (sil) lives there.. I wonder if they would be shooting on saturday

A friend and I were gonna mosey up to San Pedro tomorrow to see if we can spy the Pearl ... so any additional updates would be greatly appreciated!

It was still docked near 22nd street when I was there yesterday. Don't know how close you can get to it though.
