POTC 3 - Filming in Redondo Beach Now (8/23)!!! (w/ Black Pearl Photos!!)

My friend got to witness a battle filmed at sea with the Black Pearl this evening, off the coast of Redondo Beach! The shooting will continue through the week.

oh my god, I KNEW I saw the black pearl!!!! I went over to a friends last nights and at sunset at the top of his street we saw the ship at Redondo!!!
OH cool, i wanna go to the beach today and see it!

Thanks so much. I got to see the Pearl when she was docked down at San Pedro. THESE pictures are absolutely breathtaking. Going up as my Wallpaper right now. Thanks again so much...they are just awsome!!

After I read this thread I went down to Redondo Beach on today. I didn't see the ship at the pier so I was about to leave but off in the distance, almost hidden in the fog was a ship. I decided it was worth a shot to drive over and sure enough, at the very edge of the Palos Verdes cliffs were the Black Pearl. A few people were there taking pictures. I got as close as I could. Sorry about the blurriness and distance.

My friend talked to one of the production staff yesterday, and they should be filming through next week as well.

Its so cool when your able to look from the top of the street and see them filming.

I tried taking some pictures but the fog was a little thick up here this morning so I might be actually going down there w/ my dad tommorow
