Anchorman was pretty bad, but it was intended to be bad, haha. Moulin Rouge is something you're either hate or you're a gay man, and I love it. I'd have to say the worst films out there are the cheapquels (Speed 2, Grease 2, most things 2) and family movies. I mean, honestly, how could a film possibly be happy and simple enough to appeal to toddlers yet manage to be gritty enough to appeal to adults with IQs above your average plate of spaghetti. It's wanting to have your cake, eat it and never gain a pound in the process. I'm also guessing that the sequel to The Mask will be horrible.

But now I'm going to see that Manos thing, haha.

Open Water was STUPID!! Probably the worst movie ever is Dark Crystal. It's like Fraggle Rock from hell. And another one-my dad made me watch Cat Ballou the other day, and I have to admit, I have a hard time thinking of anything stupider than that, although I dug the theme song "Cat Ballouuuuuuu Cat Ballouuuuuuuuu"

Ooh, yes, let's add all films that revolve around talking animals.

My Ten worst films of ALL TIME in no order
10. Manos: The Hands of Fate
9. Battlefield Earth
8. Friday the 13th V: A New Beginning
7. Howard the Duck
6. Jaws 4: The Revenge
5. Red Zone Cuba
4. Plan 9 from Outer Space
3. Grease 2
2. The Apple
1. Star Trek V: The Final Frontier

Notice how many colons ther are in the list? Rule of thumb - Anything with a colon must stink!
Now wait just a darn minute! Trek V was bad, but bad enough to be on the same list with Manos?!? I hardly think so!

The funny thing is, when I saw this thread's title, I jumped in just to say Manos, thinking no one else would have heard of it!

You know a movie is an abyssmal stinkburger when even the MST crew couldn't make it funny! The funniest thing about that whole episode was the end with Mike dressed up as Torgo at the end... "They always do that..."

How could I forget these..."Jason X" and "Kangaroo Jack". Just for the record I only watched these because my younger sisters forced me to.

Closer does suck. I'm glad someone else agrees. I wrote a whole paper about how much I hated it.

Speaking of bad Natalie Portman movies, what about Where the Heart Is? I actually own it because I enjoy making fun of it so much, but people actually seem to enjoy it for normal reasons.

Ok.. now I just loved "Where The Heart Is", Im not sure why though. I guess because it is just about regular people and it portrayed her as a strong person. They could have used better names for the people, but the story behind it all was cute.

Apparently they're a slower group of people who don't clearly define the decade they are living in though dress and speech.
