 | Cars sequel!?!?! Is Pixar Planning A "Cars" Sequel? By Garth FranklinFriday July 13th 2007 3:17am  JV Pixar News reports that according to very reliable sources, a "Cars" sequel will be released after "Toy Story 3".The rumor first emerged with comments by actor Paul Newman back in June that a sequel was in the works. Surprisingly no-one has dismissed the claims since then, causing the murmurs to swell. If true, the film would be Pixar's 2011 release and John Carter of Mars would be pushed back to 2012.
