I went and checked it out today at Best Buy and it seems like a good quality camera. 12 megapixel, 7x zoom.

I currently have a Nikon Coolpix S210 and it's pretty easy to use and works well but doesn't always take the clearest pictures. It's an 8 megapixel/3x zoom camera (I have no idea what that means? :lol: )

OK, so here are my questions:
1. If you have this camera, how does it work? Pros and cons?

Also, my other question is about megapixels...

2. In short, what are megapixels? Does a higher megapixel take a higher quality picture?

I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a real good DVD repair/cleaner kit. I rent movies from Netflix and about 5%-10% of them have scratches or are dirty and don't play well on any of my DVD players (XBOX 360, PS2, Surround sound player or computers). Plus I own a few DVD's that have seen better days.

I checked with both Amazon and Best Buy online and they have quite a few in various price ranges and little or no reviews.

I just ordered mine on Verizon.com, right before the rush of people got there. The site seems to be lagging right now.

What won me over with the Droid is the fact that I've been looking to jump ship to AT&T for the iPhone, but as a poor college student, I obviously can't afford the price, as well as the horrible reception in my area.

With Verizon, I used my Family Plan's "New Every Two" $100 discount towards the Droid, and got it for $99.99 with free overnight shipping. It should be on my doorstep on Monday.
