 | Re: Syn-fully Good: 'Scarecrow of Romney Marsh' on Disney Treasures DVD I watched episode 1 of Scarecrow last night. It looks fantastic and the sound is great too.  Going to watch episode 2 tonight.I've been waiting to own a copy since I saw it on TV back in the 80s on Wonderful World of Disney. I think I saw it about 3 times and thought it was great. I even went as the Scarecrow for Halloween once (and am now pondering on making a much better costume and going as the Scarecrow again in my adult years). Excellent work on this release Disney, now release all your movies like this. We need a better version of The Rocketeer!

There are copies available through marketplace and copies are running from $65 to $149.99  Amazon.com: Used and New: Dr. Syn: The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh

I think disneyshopping.com still has some in stock. For those in LA, Disneyland still had copies in the Music Store and Disneyana Shop over the weekend (didn't check World of Disney). |

I hope so! The special Zorro card that some club members received when ordering the last Treasures sets reads something to the effect of "Coming soon to DVD as part of Walt Disney Treasures." Not sure what that Zorro content will be --perhaps the two feature compilations and/or four one hour shows from Walt Disney Presents...? |
