There's No Need to Fear, 'Underdog' DVD Will Be Here December 18th

Blu-ray.com reports that Disney's August release Underdog will be available on DVD and Blu-ray disc on December 18th.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment is planning to release 'Underdog' for Blu-ray day-and-date with the planned DVD release on December 18th. Its still too early for specs to be announced, but you can expect the typical Disney treatment of 1080p video and PCM audio. Being a family film, Disney may also opt to include a BD-Java game for the younger audience.

I like to support Disney and buy their DVDs, but I cannot, in good faith, give them more of my money for this film. It was that bad. My kids didn't even like it.

But hey, if you enjoyed it, it is coming out just in time for the holidays.

I am netflixing this to see how bad it is. I hope it is one of those great bad movies like Plan 9 from Outer Space, Mighty Peking Man, or Glen or Glenda? .

Looks like December will be a big month for Disney DVDs with Pirates, High School Musical, and Underdog all coming out in those few weeks.
