Limited # On Some Big Figs?

Hello,

I am curious as I have bought a big fig & on the shipping box, it says ""#79 of 100" What does this mean?

How can I tell (or even know if its true) that there would be a limited amount of particular big figures? The ones im looking at are Lock & Barrel but am wondering about any big figs at this point.

That might just be the number of boxes that were in that shippment. And not all limited editions are necessarily shipped all at once. Two of the limited edition big figs of mine are not individually numbered. ( but in essence, all big figs will eventually be limited editions.) Some big figs in limited editions may not all necessarily be made, if they don't sell. Some big figs had issues with breaking, I believe the Hatbox Ghost was one that was notorious for breaking, and if they are not sold, who knows if they make replacements for those, or if the limited edition just becomes more limited.

Which figure do you have? Someone here might know if we know which figure you are asking about.

I have 2 of the 3 kids from NBX, Barrel & Lock (looking for shock). Both boxes had that on them & i got curious. Its hard to find info on big figs that is elaborate. Most is vague even when using google. I have other nightmare merch thats limited & it says it on them, but i know sometimes the pieces/boxes lack info.
