    How To Upload A Video Into A New Thread.

    May I please have the instructions for uploading a video into a new thread? -Thank you!

    In the advanced posting view, when you want to embed a video, press the youtube button and paste in the url of the video (you can use the embed code that Youtube has but the url takes up less space).

    If you just want to quick post put the url of the video in between {youtube} {/youtube} tags (replace {} with []).

    I have no URL for this video because it's from a video taken with my own camera and then put into a file on my pc.

    You will need to upload it to a video hosting site, like Youtube or Google. It's just like photos that way, if you are familiar with that at all.

    Then once you upload it, you copy the URL and paste it between the code listed above.

    Then open a Youtube account and upload it. You may have to break it up into pieces, I'm not sure what their upload limits are for individual files.

    Thank you all so very much for your kind assistance. It's done! I did it! It's in the DLR forum at this very moment thanks to all of you (Tinkerbell Opera House Preview With Director and Writer Video). It was indeed a very learned experience!
