Question about MiceChat and Really Simple Syndication (RSS)

MiceChat is a great forum. It even has RSS capabilities! One thing that has always bugged me about MiceChat's RSS is the fact that only a thread's OP is showed. Upon debugging MiceChat's Extensible Markup Language (XML) I only found the following hierarchy (Sorry if there's errors, plus it is generalized, but I'm trying to do this off of memory).

    Code:

    (1)MiceChat
    (2)[Forum Title]
    (3)[Thread Title]
    (3 a.)[Date Posted]
    (3 b.)[Time Posted]
    (3 c.)[Original Post Content]
    (3 d.)[Author]
Is it possible for MiceChat to create RSS entries for each individual thread? Or does vBulletin 3.8 not support it? If vBulletin does, has it only been disabled? These are the questions that haunt me!!!

    Thanks for the help!

Re: Question about MiceChat and Really Simple Syndication (RSS)

You can subscribe to a Forum's RSS feed to get all threads of that forum.

If your using FireFox or IE 7/8 - you should see the feed as the second option "MiceChat - {Forum Title} - RSS Feed".

Re: Question about MiceChat and Really Simple Syndication (RSS)

I do realize you can read the RSS feed for a specific forum, but is there any way to set up RSS for a single thread? The main reason I was wondering this is because I wanted to make a new RSS reader that would show a certain number of posts of a thread.

I think the hierarchy would look something like this:
    Code:

    (1)MiceChat

    (2)[Forum Title]
    (3)[Thread Title] (a.)[Date Posted] (b.)[Time Posted] (c.)[Original Post Content] (d.)[Author]
    (4)[Posts]
    (I.)
    (a.)[Date Posted] (b.)[Time Posted] (c.)[ Post Content] (d.)[Author]
    (II.)
    (a.)[Date Posted] (b.)[Time Posted] (c.)[ Post Content] (d.)[Author] (I.)
    (III.)
    (a.)[Date Posted] (b.)[Time Posted] (c.)[ Post Content] (d.)[Author]
    (IV.)
    (a.)[Date Posted] (b.)[Time Posted] (c.)[ Post Content] (d.)[Author]
    (V.)
    (a.)[Date Posted] (b.)[Time Posted] (c.)[ Post Content] (d.)[Author]
[//Note: Posts continue on after this point. Only five shown to prove the point of what it would look like//]
