I've noticed the last couple days a number of black-diamond-with-question-mark symbols appearing in the text of posts where they didn't before.

Note - the issue seems to only happen when viewing the forum as a guest.
Example: this R-in-a-circle "registered" symbol "®" appears as it should when composing and previewing the post, and appears as it should after the post is submitted and viewed while I'm still logged in.
After logging out and reloading the page, the symbol appears as the black diamond with white question mark.
Logging in again, the symbol appears as it should.
