MiceChat doesn't love me anymore.
I have lost one of my stars, and the ones that I have aren't even gold anymore. At least that's what I am now seeing.
I cleared my cookies, and that didn't help.

I noticed that they were silver. I noticed other older members were silver to. I'm still yellow..
And I lost ALL of my stars but one! And now MINE are silver!
But I also just noticed that Dusty even has silver and one star.
I think that they are just re-inventing some type of recognition with the stars to show long time valued members. It might be a good thing!
Penguinsoda has 5 stars, and they are all silver like mine.
I am sure the powers that be will arrive, and explain it at some point in time.
Thanks Clara for the observation. I really did think that perhaps I inadvertently did something wrong.
barb u got 4, i see 4 silver, clara u got 1 silver star...
I am making my way down the member list starting at the highest post count, and going down, and I do not see a pattern that explains the change.
I am patient. Soon enough, I am sure someone will stop by and explain the switch.
I was shocked to notice today that I have 5 gold stars. I must be special or something! ;)

After looking over some thread with a variety of posters I don't see any relation as to what the stars mean.
Veteran and new posters with the same colors either gold or siver. Posters with tons of posts, with silver and gold. Posters with tons of posts with 1-5 stars.

I believe, my stars are Platinum. Since Platinum is rarer than Gold.
