    Question </img>

Does anyone know why several posts I have been seeing have
    </IMG>
    at the bottom of them?

    Weird, no?

HTML code is off, therefore, if they try to use HTML instead of the vB code, sometimes the HTML code shows up as is.

    Re: </img>

    If they put:

    HTML Code:
    <img src="moo.jpg"></img>
    When they should've put:

    Code:
    [IMG]moo.jpg[/IMG]
And the HTML is turned off in the forum, the HTML won't show up right.

    Re: </img>

The IMG is programming that makes a picture show up either in someones signature or a post. The IMG is a "tag" that goes around the web address that the photo is linked from so it tells the computer to pull that picture from where the photo is hosted and display it here.

    For example:

    <img>http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/sumermarie/vmkroom.gif</img>

    Should be:

    [IMG]http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f82/sumermarie/vmkroom.gif[/IMG]

    To produce:

    Did I confuse you more?

It's a bug in the vBspell software. If you have an image in your post that you are spellchecking (this includes smilies), then it adds a </img> to the end of the post.

    I never use spelcheck.

    Just kidding.

Thank you for the info. I thought the </img> thing had something to do with my crappy computer or something.
