    I can't give Reputation!

I tried to give a rep the last 2 days and I keep getting a message that I am not allowed to do this and it logs me out of micechat. What do I do?

Good question! I think that is one that Monorail Man is going to have to look into.

Contact a mod to fix it. Dustysage and TicTocDragon are terrific moderators. They will hopefully be able to clear up your technical problem - or refer you to somebody who can.

MonorailMan would be the best for this. He should be on soon.

Thanks! I am deleting my cookies right now to see if that helps.

Clearing the cookies did not help. The box that comes up if from MSN. It says I can not perform that function and I need to refresh the page and log in. When I go to refresh the page, it logs me out.

Also try to delete the files and then completely close your browser and reopen it again. Maybe even restart the computer.

I have no idea if that will help, but I have to do that often and it seems to help when things get screwy. But MM is our technical genius, as soon as he's on I am sure he'll find a way to help.

Just something I threw out there to see if it would help, Hastin will be on later for sure.

Thanks for trying. I restarted and that did not help either.

Ok, first lets go ahead and make sure that everything is clear.
    1. Click Start > (Settings) > Control Panel
    2. Click (Network and Internet Connections) > Internet Options
    3. On the General Tab, click 'Delete Cookies', then click OK.
    4. Now, click 'Delete Files...', and check the box, and click OK.
    5. On the Security tab, click 'Default Level'
    5. On the Programs tab, click 'Reset Web Settings'
    6. On the Advanced tab, click 'Restore Defaults'

Next, make sure that your MSN client is Up-To-Date:
    1. Click 'Help and Settings
    2. Click 'About MSN'
    3. Click 'More Info'
    4. Now, scroll to the top of the page, and click 'Update MSN Now'

After that's done, make sure Windows is Up-To-Date:
    1. Visit Windows Update
2a. On Windows 98/ME, click 'Scan For Updates', after following any directions to install the ActiveX control.
2b. On Windows XP, click 'Express', after following any directions to install the ActiveX control.
    3. After it scans:
4a. On Windows 98/ME click "Review and Install Updates", then click 'Install Now'
4b. On Windows XP, click 'Install Updates'
    5. Keep visiting Windows Update, until there are 0 updates to install.
You will need to restart your computer several times. Hopefully, that should fix it.

Slightly off topic...last time I gave rep, I got a message box that popped up saying something to the effect of...may you be so lucky to get one in return...with one of those traffic sign-like exclamation points. What's up with that?
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Funny thing about that, I gave some one rep that, let's say was unfavorable, and I got the message saying "May you be lucky to recieve the same rep i return" It made me giggle.
    What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.

A good question would be is what browser is tbminnie using.

I don't see anything in vbulltin support about it not working for people except where the admins have mods or other configurations wrong. But if its working for other users, that shouldn't be the case here.
