    Staying logged in

Staying logged on is getting more and more difficult. It used to log me off when I clicked on links too much, but now its logging me off whenever I click period. I have cleared my cookies, history, and tif's, but I still am having issues.

can anybody help me out? could an mod or admin be logging me off since i log on from my phone and computer throughout the day?

It took me about 5 tries to post this.

Gah, that is frustrating. (Almost as irritating as iTunes)!

I have trouble staying logged on when I use my desktop, but no trouble at all from my notebook or my cell phone. What gives?

Close MiceChat in all browsers, clear all cookies, and login again.

The problem seems to be with my work computer. I closed everything, cleared everything I could clear, ran ccleaner and it still won't let me stay on. So far so good with my home computer though.

Many work proxies prevent persistant cookies, and MiceChat uses persistant cookies to keep you logged in. Persistant cookies can be a huge security risk for companies, so many of them block them.

You can also set MiceChat to remember your password. Then you won't get logged out. But it is less secure if others have access to your computer.

Nah, that doesn't work for some reason. I guess I'm stuck earning my hourly wage...

    Thanks for the advice!

    Re: Staying logged in

This was happening to me yesterday. I would log in, the welcome page would show, and then I'd be back in my non-logged-in state. I switched browsers for a while and everything settled down I assumed I had a corrupt cookie or something.

I changed to Firefox and everything seems to be good now. In fact, MC is more stable than ever now.
