    Post MiceChat Dictionary of Abbreviations and Acronyms

    Welcome! Hopefully this post will help a lot of newbies decipher posts.
    Feel free to post any words I left out!

    A note: There are various ways to capitalize some of these.
    For example, TOT and ToT mean Tower of Terror.

    Another note: Some of these have multiple meanings. Look at the context they are in and decide. The definition that comes first is usually the most often used one.

    AA: audio animatronic

    ABL: A Bug's Land

    ACFP: A Christmas Fantasy Parade

    AL: Adventureland

    AO: Astro Orbitor

    AP: Annual Pass

    A-ticket: The least immersive attractions are "A-ticket" attractions

    BLAB: Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

    BIHM: Believe in Holiday Magic (fireworks spectacular)

    BPB: Block Party Bash

    B-Ticket: Not very immersive attractions are "B-ticket" attractions

    BTMRR: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

    C!ASP: Celebrate! A Street Party

    CBJ: Country Bear Jamboree

    CC: Critter Country

    CF: Condor Flats

    CJRR: Casey Jr. Railroad

    CM: Cast Member

    CS: California Screamin'

    C-ticket: Averagely immersive attractions are "C-ticket" attractions

    DAP: Deluxe Annual Pass

    DCA: Disney's California Adventure

    DL: Disneyland (park)

    DLH: Disneyland Hotel

    DLR: Disneyland Resort

    DLRR: Disneyland Railroad

    DTD: Downtown Disney

    D-ticket: Immersive attractions are "D-ticket" attractions

    DVC: Disney Vacation Club

    EMH: Extra Magic Hours

    E-ticket: Very immersive attractions are "E-ticket" attractions

    ETR: Enchanted Tiki Room

    On the other hand, even if you know all the acronyms backwards and forwards, you're still more than welcome to actually spell out full words. It doesn't really take much longer.

    A few notes..
    - We usually use SM for Space Mountain and we just spell Splash.
    - MB (Matterhorn Bobsleds) or just Matterhorn.
    - TLT (Tomorrowland Terrace)

    This is for people to know what they mean and to be able to read posts, not to make posts. However, yes, full words always work. :P

    I have always wondered why, on a chat board, where people come to chat with friends about a place they both enjoy, you feel the need to use an abbreviation and not the whole word? I mean, it is not like texting or twitter where you have a time/cost/volume constraint. Here, we can talk and talk and talk and..................................
