    How to multi quote?

When I multi quote, I understand I need to click on the multi quote icon at the bottom right of the post I want to quote. But then what? Specifically I would like to know how to multiquote different parts of one post. What do I do after I hit (and turn blue) the mutiquote icon? It doesn't seen to give me any more ability to multiquote than just "quote"

Thanks, if this makes any sense!

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Just click on who you want to multiquote and then hit post reply and youll have space to reply to the individual quotes you desire.

Ok, so I first click on "mutilquote" option in the lower right of the post, then "post reply"? I tried that and it only showed the [Quote] marks at the begiining and end of the post I want to quote. How do I get multiple [quote] abilities?

Well it seems that you're doing it right but not sure what is going wrong

Of course, that's the purpose. You're supposed to reply to multiple quotes in one post from various people or one person.

Just click on the multi quote button on each post you want to quote. Then hit post reply.
Each multi quote button you click will turn blue
it shows them in the order you clicked.

Ok so I think I have this figured out. I just have to select all the multi-quotes I want Before clicking on post reply. Yeah, learned a new skill.

I don't understand how to multi quote within ONE post, meaning different quotes from ONE long post.

If you're trying to split up a post, then you do have to wrap it in quote tags. Mulit quote it for quoting mulitple posts, not just one post.
