My mother in law, used to say, "I don't want any gifts, or even cards on my birthday". I just like to hear from each of my children. As long as they take the time to call, and say, happy birthday, and talk with me a bit. They all were good that way.

My husband saves every card that the kids give him. I save them as well.

There's too much pressure put on buying a gift, so I tell my kids to save their money.

How many people have gifts that they never use.

Is there something that I can use to get the odor of chives off my hands? It's driving me crazy. I don't understand why after two days, they smell like that. I cut the chives, and used gloves, and my hands smell awful. I tried soap, and lotion, and I still smell chives, which is like onions. It's like when you peel onions, and your hands smell like onions, forever.

Do you have anything that is stainless steel? Rub your hands on it. This comes from my husband who has a restaurant background. So, if it doesn't work....blame him!

Yep, he says the best thing to use is the faucet on your kitchen sink. Rub your hand up and down the top of it until the smell is gone.

Most of the odor is gone, except it is on my fingers as well. The faucet thing helped a little. Thanks.
