The "Once Each Day" - Castle Pictures Thread

I thought it would be fun to have a thread, where we could post pictures of Castles. I have taken hundreds, maybe even thousands of pictures of Disney castles on my vacations to Disneyland, and Disney World. Each day, I will post one more castle picture.

I encourage all of you to post your pictures of castles as well. Just one rule. Limit your pictures to one each day.

The very first Disney Castle that I ever saw was on my 50th birthday, September 4, 1997. My husband, and I took our then 4 year old grandson to Disney World. Here we are walking down Main Street. Yes, the castle was a cake.

All castles are welcome here. I know some of us have been to both Disneyland, and Disney World, but it would be great to see castles from Tokyo, and Paris, and Hong Kong as well.

I visited Disneyland for the first time on July 16, 2005. Here is my first glimpse of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. I was standing on the Railroad Station platform. My friend Jennifer took this picture, right before we boarded the train for our first trip around the park.

I guess in 2003, on my next trip to Disney World, my mind wasn't on taking pictures of the castle. I only seem to have this one from our visit. Of course, all I had was disposable cameras back then, and there were no photopass people back then either. It was good to see the castle in it's original design, instead of covered in pink frosting.

I heard it somewhere that Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle is actually backwards? I wonder if that is true. I think it is a beautiful castle from both sides. I love taking pictures of it. I also love the way it is different colors from day to night, and depending on the lighting.

I have posed many times in front of the Partners statue. This was the very first time that I did. My very first day at Disneyland.

I've posted this picture so many times on this site, but it's my absolute favorite picture of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
