Actually 1/2 the people eat and run. That's my husband's brothers and their families. They usually do two dinners. Mine being their first, and then they are off to their second on the south side of Chicago.

My own kids, and grandson stay longer. I never mind the cooking. I like to stay home for the holidays, since my stomach doesn't travel well.

It's great to see new faces in the RCMC.

I am watching the World Series of Poker, and Phil Ivey just got knocked out #7 of the final table. I got up to tell my husband, but he's already in bed. The fact that he has to get up at 4 a.m. in the morning, keeps him from watching a lot of things that he likes to watch. We have been wondering who was going to win the Main Event for a long time now.

Awww...it's too bad that he missed it. I can't watch people play poker on tv, it's just boring to me. My husband thinks it's interesting, but he has a mathematical mind that likes to figure out which cards are left, etc. I just sit there drooling or dissing the player's hats or something.

I like watching poker. We got hooked when Chris Moneymaker won. I am surprise just how long ago that was. Right now, I don't recognize any of these players left.

No school tomorrow. Being used to having Mondays off no matter what day of the week a federal holiday was on, I find this very disorienting. About as much as Daylight Saving Time.
