RCMC: Come forth, fellow llamas, a new year is upon us!

Sounds yummy... Last (& only time!) I was at Epcot we ate dinner in Morocco with the belly dancers.... and I was too young to partake of anything stronger than the couscous!!

To those of you who ARE coming to the MC 5th anniversary.

I'm thinking about making some sweets to share among close friends (RCMC included). What should I make? I've had success with your typical chocolate chip cookies but I've had a good response with chocolate dipped cherries and strawberries. One time I even made cream puffs which were delicious. Ideas?

Considering how much time we spend talking about food around here, I'm pretty sure anything will go over well!

I wonder if all those replies to the poll are from RCMC members. I didn't think that we had that many active members 32. That's quite a lot.

I was thinking the same thing today Barb. Somehow I'm thinking it's just people in the lounge that saw a poll, took it and went about their day. Oh well. Hopefully there's a way to make the poll public somehow so we can get a better idea of who's going and on what days.

Hmmm. Maybe Pengy can find a way around it. I know she was talking to other mods to see what could be done. If we can't do anything about it, we could always just start another thread with an RCMC title and put another poll there and have it public.

Ok... here's the scoop....I don't have the power to change it to public. I asked one of the senior mods, who have some administrator level powers if they could change it.

They can't.

However, they can see who voted for what. So, what I'm going to do is when we finish this thread, or it gets close to the event whichever comes first, have that senior mod look one last time and give me a final list of who voted for what. That way we can sort out any random non randomites.

That way hopefully we won't have to do another one.

What's up, randomites? I just successfully drank myself around the world at Epcot, so I'm kinda tipsy. Waiting for IllumiNations now. Miss you guys!

Random question for everyone: have you ever participated in a mystery dinner? The kind where the names of the food and utensils are in code? Because I'm trying to think of names and corresponding foods for a Nancy Drew/Detective themed party. They can't be too strange of foods, though, because it's for little kids.

I could argue that one all day long my friend. The Disneyland comparison is hardly fair though since it's the best theme park ever. To me, LOTR was just a bunch of walking and fighting. If you've seen Clerks 2, Randal's description of LOTR was about what I got out of it. And ya can't knock Twilight til you've seen it. Aaand I'm ending that right there lol, don't want another argument over it.

Ditto...well, once I have money to for a ticket that is. I wish my choir decided to perform the day of the meet like they did last year. Granted that wasn't intentional because I'm pretty sure my choir director doesn't know what MC is, but yea, we always perform the first sunday of february and this year it falls the week right after the anniversary. >.<
