yeah, like I said, I'm not a fan of NASCAR, I just watch it. I prefer to watch baseball over auto racing.

Yes indeed!! NASCAR season is almost upon us once again. Hopefully Kasey Kahne () can get his act together this year and win some races.
It's entertaining to watch that many cars go that fast and not hit each other; gets even more exciting when they do crash. I usually only watch about the first 10-20 laps and then come back for the last 10-20 unless my fave driver is starting on the poll or at least close to it, then I watch a little more of the race.

Well... looks like it's gonna be a boring night around here. Step dad has his friends over, they're all partying it up; I was about to join them and got deemed the designated driver for the night. Grrr!
Wait...what? You're the DD for your stepdad's friends? Is he a college frat boy?
Nope, he's going back to Afghanistan on Friday and there's no alcohol. But the way he's been partying it up since he's been home, I'm starting to think his inner frat boy is coming out.
Ah. Well, part of me thinks he should enjoy it while he can; part of me thinks he should grow up :-)

Yeah... my mom is fully in the boat of he needs to grow up. In fact I think she's putting the engine on that row boat now.She's captain of that ship. I'm thinking I'm not DDing anyone if I don't feel like it; they can sober up and take themselves home or sleep on the floor
Just another day in the neighborhood. I really should start packing for this weekend, I still haven't done it.
I don't need to pack, but I'm worried about my back. I'll get a trial run tomorrow, we're off to DL for the day. My son's birthday was earlier in the month and he didn't get his birthday DL day due to unforeseen circumstances, so tomorrow's his unbirthday.
I'm hoping to meet some of you on Sunday or Saturday night (maybe)
Well I hope your back feels better! Hopefully the trial run goes well.
I think I'm gonna go be social, couldn't hurt.
