Re: RCMC: Riding 99 Llamas Down Highway 99 To The 99 Threads Only Store!
I am surprising Sean and Kathy with a Kitchen sink in the attic that I am having remodeled. Not a full blown kitchen, just a sink. That alone is an added expense that I probably shouldn't spend. I thought about it long and hard, and decided to go ahead. It will be nice for Kathy to be able to do a few dishes up there. She doesn't cook much, so she really doesn't need a whole kitchen. They do have their own microwave, and mini fridge, so I figure this will really make it nice for them.
I am also having my dishwasher taken out since I never use it. It will be replaced with some shelving. I can definitely use the extra storage space.
Poor. I am poor. I am happy, poor, but I am still poor.
A good friend of Kathy lost her husband yesterday due to a fatal heart attack. He was only 43 years old. Now a teenage boy has no dad. It is so sad. I remember my younger brother was just 13 when our dad died. I guess I didn't realize how hard it was for him at the time.
Life. We live it, and sometimes it just kicks us in the teeth.
