True, it's not all that easy sometimes, especially that being a guy I don't have the instincts of a mom.

But in the end, it's way worth it!!

Being a mother has got to be the hardest job on the entire planet; but it's also the most rewarding!

The money is not the best, but you can't put a price on love.

Moms are the most selfless people anywhere; ever notice that when there are 6 people and only 5 slices of pie left that mom suddenly doesn't really like pie after all?

Actually, a mother truly is a 'Jack Of All Trades'. She is a......
Doctor; who else can heal just about any owie with a simple kiss.
Chef; even while she is still learning, the food is pretty good!
Teacher; I learned more stuff from my mother than all other sources combined.
Psychologist; it doesn't matter how bad it is, mom always has the answer.
Accountant; she can manage the family finances way better than any CPA.
Photographer; ever notice how precious those old pictures become?

And the list goes on and on.

As the years go by, I love my mother more and more.
    How very true!

I think that is the sweetest Mother's Day sentiment I have heard all day. Except for maybe the handmade card with 55 cents attached to it... lol.

And you know, I appreciate my Mom so much more now than I ever have too...

    Hi, Rex!

Yeah, I know about the night work; it gets more than just a bit old after a while!

But at least it's work, and pays the bills.

    Thank you Rex!

    And hi!

Will you always be scheduled on the night shift? That is no fun!

I would say you have pretty darn good instincts for a guy.

God has blessed you with much wisdom...

True, and not especially for the better!!

I wonder.....if a person works nights long enough, do you turn into a vampire of some sort?

    Scary!

Working graveyard shifts messes with your natural body rhythms. Try and keep as regular a sleep schedule as you can. Is there any way you can switch back to the daytime, or a mid shift?

I know you didn't... but God is faithful, right?

He prepared you, and you have not let Him or your kids down.

Oh, and I can keep telling you over and over if you need to hear it, lol.
