Yep; if I suddenly disappear, it's a pretty safe bet that my ISP (Clearwire) is acting up again.

If there was anything else around here, I'd sign up for it in an instant.

That translates into about 512 miles that I've walked at work since 1/1/11.

No wonder I'm tired all the time! lol

Wow! That is alot of steps. You can now add professional walker to your resume as well...

I am happy to report that my meeting with the Chicago Building Department went really well today. I now actually know what needs to be done in order to get my attic completed in the not so distant future. As soon as the Building Department gets back to me about a Heating problem on my architect's drawings, I can start looking for a new contractor. Hopefully, I'll do a better job hiring one this time, than I did the first time. Money may be an issue, but I guess I'll cross that bridge, when/and if I have to.

Yet something else we have in common... lol!

I don't know what it is, but when skeletons dance, even when it is supposed to be scary, it is just funny.

    Perhaps I am easily amused...

    Hi, Barb!

Building dept.s are there mainly for safety, but most inspectors will go the extra mile for a homeowner. Especially when the contractor is being a .......... lol.

    Oh thank goodness!

I am so glad to hear that Barbara. Now you have a gameplan. Next thing to pray for is a good, honest kick butt contractor to finish this thing off the right way...

When I booked the trip and saw that DL was closing at 8 all this week, I was disappointed. Now, I'm really happy they're closing early. I don't think I could handle much more.

We are partying like it's 2055! We still have three more days of DLR, then we're heading out on Saturday. The kids, luckily, have been more into the rides than the souvenirs, but, we ended up with a plush bullseye and some Ridemakerz cars that more than make up for the deficiency.
