My husband bought the New Harry Potter Movie. The problem, for me, is that he bought the BluRay version. That does come with a regular DVD, but it also means that I can't watch any of the Special Features. That's a real bummer.

I just finished watching Deathly Hallows, part one and part two. I was all geared up to see the special features, and they won't play in my normal DVD player.

I must admit this time around, I got a little choked up and teary eyed. Although I still wish that they had done a lot of things a whole lot different.

I'll be leaving Sunday afternoon to go bake to the power plant, this could be the last of it though.

We've checked and tested just about everything, now it's time to make it actually produce electricity.

I finally put all my stuff back under my stairs in the back, after my electrician fixed the problem under there.

Now I need to wait for the contractor to solve the heating permit problem.

I fear with the holidays coming up, and the cold weather, my project is at a standstill again, and not likely to be done any time soon.

But at least something was done, which is better than nothing.

This sure seemed to take a long time, I really don't understand. Contractor profits are always highest when the job is done quickly. Everyone still remembers from rough-in to finish. The quicker it gets done (within reason), the better it looks in the end.

Maybe I'm just too used to the big mad rushes that every project I've ever worked on are always in, but it seems to me that they'd want to get in, get it done, and move on to the next one.

P.S. It gets cold in Chicago, keep an eye on pipes freezing. That'd make a BIG mess!!

My attic project seems to be the exception to the rule in every way possible. I have called it project Murphy since day one.

It started out with me hiring the absolute worst contractor around.

I made so many mistakes along the way. Hindsight is...well let's just say, I'll most likely never do anything like this again.

I am sorry about your computer. I am not on my computer very much either due to the baby...

It is hard to post from the phone. So I end up lurking alot, lol.

Yeah, my computer just completely died one day, of course right after my insurance expires. . I don't like posting on the phone much, either, mostly because I make a lot of typos and my phone autocorrects them to weird things. I might get a computer for Christmas but I'd rather go to Disneyland.

I am surprised that there hasn't been any mention of a MiceChat Anniversary Meet so far. Perhaps it's getting way too much to organize the event every year. It does take a lot of work.

Of course it died right after the insurance expired.......why wouldn't it? lol.

Technology is pretty neat, but only if it actually works.

Maybe, just maybe, if you wish upon a star, you might possible get both a computer and a DL trip!!
