That stuff isn't funny you two! I watched a good 3 hours of Hoarders. I felt a little better about my house after watching that, but I definitely want to clean my room now. I don't wanna be one of those ladies later that has 20 people in my house for 3 days trying to make it livable again.

    Hey there my other mommy!

Not empty really. I'm trying to do some job hunting. No luck thus far. Pretty worried.

I am nowhere near the description of a hoarder. Like I said, it's cluttered, but it's organized clutter.

I know. Our house is pretty cluttered too. Of course, there are 4 women living here lol. Then you add in all the animals, it's no wonder it's a bit messy.

Thanks mommy! I'm not finding much really. There's a water company hiring, distributing water bottles. That's about it. I hate going into places that aren't hiring, giving them a resume, and not hearing from them.

The job market is still tight everywhere.... How far away are you looking? Or are you trying to stay close to home right now?

I've looked all over Sacramento. Even stuff downtown as much as I loathe driving down there. Nothing. Nobody is hiring. The two major bakeries that would be amazing to work for won't hire anyone ever.

On a side note, would anyone want biscotti? I've had a friend that lives down there ask me to make him two batches, so I can easily make a couple more to share with everyone. I'm making espresso biscotti.

Ok, so time to do a little costing. It's my least favorite part of someone asking me to make something. They ask how much I want for my goods, and I never know what to say. Have to gather the cost of all the various ingredients and then do lots of math. Yuck.

I used to sell my crocheted afghans. However, it seems that people didn't want to pay me for all the time that it took me to make them. I would always charge enough for the materials used, of course, but I never made much more than that. I finally stopped selling them.

It costs $2.09 for a single batch of biscotti. The only thing I don't regularly have on hand is espresso powder and cake flour. Everything else I always have so I don't worry about that. I just cost out what each amount of something costs. Not sure what to charge for the 2 batches since it doesn't take much effort to put it together. It only takes an hour or so out of my day to make it. Since he's getting 2 batches, that's $4.18. So maybe say $6? Plus whatever it costs to ship it. I'd be happy to send anyone here some as well. I can make the regular espresso, chocolate pecan, almond, anything really.
