At this point I'm not losing much even if it sits vacant for a while. The property taxes are less than $300 for the entire year, and I only get about $340 a month in rent from it. So even if it just sits there for a while its not that big of a deal. Its a 40 year old mobile home... its going to come to the point of if its really worth the money to repair or let it sit.

My Christmas party turned out better than I expected. I cooked just the perfect amount of food, so I don't have a whole lot of leftovers.

Sad news though. I found out that my 31 year old nephew has MS. He was diagnosed recently. Now this is my late brother's youngest son Kevin. It just breaks my heart. Him and his mom didn't make my party, but they are supposed to stop by the Tuesday after Christmas.

I think that I finally figured out the best way to load my memory card pictures into iPhoto. I just wished it would keep them in one event rather than wanting to split them up.

Glad the party turned out good! But sorry to hear about your nephew!

Ok, I've got a question........when would everyone like to get together for our RCMC dinner?

Saturday would be best for me, we'll drive down on Saturday, and get there somewhere around 6PM or so. After the kids are fed, they'll likely walk around DTD or go to the pool. That leaves me free all evening.

We'll go to DL on Sunday, Universal Monday, then DL again on Tuesday. Maybe DL on Wednesday too, but I'm not sure.

I need to book the room pretty soon. If Friday works out better for everyone, I'll move the plans ahead a day.

Friday night I won't be getting back from the tour until around 8 PM. Not sure how much of me will be left. Sat. and Sun works ok for me.... but.... Since Stacy can't do it Saturday....

My sister in law is taking him to Stroger's Hospital. They don't have any health insurance, so I'm not really sure about the quality of his care at this point in time. I guess next time I talk to her I may be able to find out more. I don't want to bombard her at this time with too many questions.

Having no insurance is scary. Even with sometimes its hard. When my son in law had pneumonia even with his insurance it only paid $900 of his $1700 bill.

I am sleepy this morning. I should have forgotten about setting the alarm, and woke up naturally. I haven't planned anything in particular. I'll just take this Monday as it comes. I keep thinking that there is something that I should be remembering, but I can't remember exactly what that is.

I hate that.... when I can't remember. Or when I was going to do something and I go to do it and... forget what it was I was going to do. Or like at work I'll log into the computer... then while I'm logging in I forget why I was logging in....



Well I thought I could just chill this week but looking around I have so much I still need to do before this weekend. And pulling in 3 extra half shifts at the hospital won't help. So I'll peek in when I can... Hope everyone has a warm Monday!

I have decided to take a walk to Target today. The sun is shining. It's going to be in the mid 40's today, so it's a good day for a walk. Gotta take advantage of this nice weather before the snow comes, and I will be housebound for sure.

I never figured out what it was I was supposed to remember. I guess that it must not have been important.

Checked the calendar and the best time for me would be a Saturday RCMC breakfast or lunch, I just can't do dinner that night.

I could also do a Friday or maybe Sunday. But Sunday is real iffy for me.

However, don't plan around me. You guys are the ones coming from afar, so what you say goes....
