It is raining buckets here in Chicago.

I am up late due to the Blackhawks 2nd Playoff game against the Phoenix Coyotes. They won, by the way. 2nd Playoff game in a row that went into overtime. I am glad that the next game will be on at a more decent hour.

I feel Dizzy every time I see Kritter dancing like that.

I am up early this morning because we have scheduled a trip to the grocery store. Can't cook the groceries, if I haven't bought the groceries.

Kathy wants to use my house, for after her mom's memorial service next weekend, so I have a week of house cleaning ahead of me. Well my house was crying for the attention anyway.

Well if your vacation is 43 days away then mine is even closer. I need to get busy and start planning and figure out what I need to pack and get ahold of my daughters friend Julie who is going to ride up with me... May 9th will be here before I know it.

My neighbor suffers from panic attacks, and when she has a bad one, she always knocks on my door. I never know what to say, or do, and it makes me uncomfortable. I wish that she had someone else who could help her. I know that sounds selfish, but it's my reality.

I plan on spending the rest of my night crocheting. It's very windy here today in Chicago, and the windows are shaking.

For a college educated man, sometimes my husband isn't very bright. Before my husband went to bed last night, he handed me a document that needs to be notarized. Keep in mind that he already signed it. It has his signature on it. It is pertaining to his income, and it needs to arrive where it is going by April the 18th. He isn't going to be very happy when I hand it back to him, and tell him that he needs to handle this task himself. Why does he wait until the 11th hour, and why does he think that I can do this? I am definitely not him. It's lucky that there's a currency exchange right down the street, and the post office mailbox isn't too far either. Sorry, but he dropped the ball on this one. Not sure why he didn't handle that task immediately. He usually does when it pertains to any kind of exemption on the house. I sure hope we don't suffer for his procrastination.

Today I start my weeklong cleaning of my house. It sure needs it. So right after breakfast, the fun begins. Dust bunnies watch out, because here I come.

Your husband does realize that notarized means its signed in the presence of the notary, who then stamps and verifies that they witnessed the signature being made? Men...

I should do some cleaning... but its going to be a pretty nice day and I may just have to spend some time outside today.

Sometimes my husband's brain goes on vacation. He will also claim he is too busy, and if he can get me to do something for him, than why do it himself. Well in this case, he has no choice, and he better do it today.

I find myself reinforcing the bad behavior by doing whatever is was my husband asked me to do instead of retraining him to do it himself.... I do that with my little one too... If we love them, we must help them to be more independent, right...?

I honestly don't mind doing tasks for my husband. He does work very long days, and I do have much more time than he does. In this case, I can not do what he has asked me to do. It must be done by him. I just wish that he had not waited until the 11th hour. He obviously put the application aside, meaning to take care of it and it slipped his mind.

My neighbor wrote me a note today, and left it in my mailbox. She said that she wasn't going to bother me anymore. The note left me feeling both relieved, and guilty at the same time. Less than a few hours after the note, she was knocking on my door with nonsense about the wind outside, and how it made her feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. It all left me just scratching my head.
