And its morning. I sorta slept in. My alarm still went off... darn husband for setting it. But I turned it off and stayed in bed for a while. Amazingly the dogs even left me alone.

I have always owned HP Printers, and they have worked just great for me. I would never buy an HP computer again, but for printing photos, I find HP printers and Ink do a good job for what I want them to do. With all my scrapbooking projects, I have spent a fortune on ink. Perhaps someday, I will get back to the scrapbooking. I can't remember the last time that I did a page. Between my attic fiasco, and all the crocheting that I have done, scrapbooking has been neglected badly. I should have done a scrapbook for my son. It's almost June, and he will be married a whole year already, and I have not scrapped not even one page of his wedding. Bad mother.
I slept longer today than ever. I don't feel too bad. Perhaps it's just in my head that I think that I am going to get sick, when in actuality, I really won't. Well I guess time will tell.
In 5 weeks, I will be leaving on my trip. Ramon at the restaurant keeps bugging me about Carsland at DCA. I told him that it won't be open yet when I take my vacation. I am sure all the construction walls will still be up. He is hoping to take his young son in August.
Happy Monday.

HP printers have been getting good reviews from what I've read so far. And Wally World does carry them so I'd be able to get the ink there.
I don't do a lot of printing so I don't need a super fancy one. I don't need a fax but do need it to scan and copy.
I keep collecting scrapbooking stuff... and maybe some day I'll do some more too.Maybe this summer... maybe this summer I'll do a LOT to stuff.
What's up, guys? I hate this time of year...It's hot, but, i'm too lazy to get the air conditioner running. I wish I could afford a grounds keeper for my little house.

I use my HP Printer more with my Dell than with my Mac, although it does work fine with both. I did have a problem scanning into my Mac the other day, but that was just because I never did it before. I finally realized it was better working with the Dell that day any way. When I have time, I will walk myself through the scanning process on my Mac.
Ink costs are the biggest factor probably for most people, and I am not sure about the comparisons. I am also used to the programs that HP provide on the computer that allow you to do what needs to be done. I have never worked with a Canon, Epson, or any other companies printing program. I assume they are probably all quite similar.
I won't let HP do any updates on My Dell computer though, I deny them all, because they want to delete my one very easy printing program, in favor of a newer one that just doesn't work as well. "Beware of updates", Kathy says, "they are sometimes down grades!" So I just stick with the way it is now, and look for new stuff manually.
I say stay with what you are comfortable with and with what you know. If it's working fine, than why switch? Life is complicated enough.

I just scheduled 2 gas inspections for my 2 gas meters. That was relatively easy to do. I did it online, and it went smoothly. Sometimes these things are a royal pain. Not this time.
Now I need to eat breakfast. It's late for me, but later is better than not at all.

Rev!!! Yeah, its been in the 90's here too. I actually don't mind hot weather, but it just came on to fast this year. We went from freezing and having snow on the hills just a week or so to boom.... 90+. It would be easier if we could of transitioned into it.
I could use a groundskeeper to... and a maid....
Both the Epson and the Canon I had were pretty straight forward with stuff. It was easy to do the head cleaning, etc on them.... and scanning was easy. Both of them automatically used... what ever the name of the program is I have on my computer. Its a really old program but both printers just found it, connected to it, and use it.
But I hear you on the upgrades. There have been times when I've upgraded and has more problems. And considering some of the issues I've had over the years, I could see doing an upgrade and have my entire computer blow up and stop working. I have an external back up drive but... not sure how good of a back up that is. I'm pretty selective with what I upgrade too.

A chef would be ok... although I don't mind cooking so much. But I need a sou chef (or whatever they are called) to do the clean up for me after!
How about a live in masseuse?

During Kathy's family get together at my house on Saturday, this friend of there's took over my kitchen, and started making salsa. I got out of the way. I expected a lot of cleanup would be needed when they were done. SUrprisingly, they only left me with my small food processor needing to be cleaned. The completed salsa was way to spicy for my liking.
