Its things like this that are making me thing that maybe a PC would be easier... hubby said just have Radio Shack overnight one to me. Except that I tried to explain to him that it would costs as much to overnight it as to put a tank of gas in my car. Besides, Radio Shack didn't have them. Frys did... but they wanted $35 to ship overnight.
Thank goodness for eBay...got one that I hope will work for $18 and with any luck it will be here by Saturday.
Do you have a flat screen or an old CRT monitor? If it's a flat screen shouldn't it just be plug & play with a USB hook up? Been awhile since I've had to fiddle around with an PC stuff, but I remember it being that way for my parents old desktop PC when I bought them a flat screen.
Anyway, glad you found what you needed and that it's on it's way and hopefully you have it by the weekend.
Morning all! So I'm going through med withdrawal (I'm bipolar and adhd) because I am too broke to refill my prescriptions. Fail. Anyway, it makes it very difficult to type coherently, so I may be quiet around here for a while. Don't think I don't care!
I am about to tackle a scrapbook project for my brother's memorial service on Sunday. So if I disappear for a few days, you know where I am. However, I usually find a few moments each and every day to check in on MiceChat. My days just don't seem right, if I don't do that.
Good luck with the scrapbooking Barb. It's a quiet day in here. I'm just hoping work goes well tonight, everyone gets what they need and gets out before 10 so I can close and go home. I hate people that come in at 9:55, ask when we close, say they'll be done in 5 minutes then take the next 15 minutes lolly gagging through the store as if it were the middle of the day.
Flo's V8 diner; is that the place that has a model of a V8 engine? If so, there was a thread about it in the DL forum. It was about the firing order of a typical V8 and whether or not the 'spark plugs' lit in the proper order.
A V8 has two banks of 4 cylinders, one on the left and the other on the right. Each cylinder fires in sequence, otherwise the engine would run rough.
If the 4 cylinders at Flo's are the right bank, they do indeed fire in the proper sequence.
I just love how Disney pays attention to detail like this.
True enough, only one of ten thousand people would notice this, but it's still cool.
