Re: RCMC # 120: Dancing with Myself.....

Yesterday I received a package from my daughter in law, Terri. It contained three skeins of Blue Yarn. Three different shades of blue. No note in the box. Just the yarn. Not exactly sure why she sent this yarn to me. Once when she was by my house she asked me if I could crochet a cover for her air conditioner. I guess she wants to, kind of hide it when it isn't being used. That's the only thing that I can think of. Although my husband said, "maybe she is pregnant".

Happy Wednesday. I wonder what's up in the Roundup today.

And its morning... one week until I leave for Nor Cal!

Pregnant huh? Well that would be a good guess but since she sent blue yarn, she would have to know for sure she was having a boy.... and I'm thinking if it was the case she'd not be far enough along to know that for sure! Might have to give her a call and ask her want its for!

Re: RCMC # 120: Dancing with Myself.....

I don't talk to Terri and Mark much. We aren't really that close. I believe if they ever have children it won't be anywhere near the same relationship that I had with Sean.

I am tired of people borrowing from me and my husband all the time. Even when it's for a perfectly sound reason, it just annoys me. Then when I say No, I am made to feel guilty. My husband will probably yell at me when he gets home because I didn't let Jason borrow my bus pass. I asked why he didn't ask Kathy for the money. She is his aunt, and she is the one who moved him in, and assumed responsibility for him. I have a hard enough time paying my bills as it is.

I have crocehted stuff animals before. I probably could manage a Pikachu if I really tried, and the earlier starter Pokemon would be quite easy. Bulbasaur and Charmander and Squirtle. I did that sort of thing when my boys were little. In fact, I crocheted dinosaurs for my boys. They had a set of almost all of the most recognizable dinosaurs. My older son appreciated things that I did moreso than my younger son. Mark had a terrible temper. One time he got mad at me, and he took a scissors and started destroying the dinosaurs that I had crocheted. He might as well have stabbed me in the heart. Funny what sparks the memory.

I don't think you should feel bad for saying, "no" If you're not comfortable with it, there's no reason for guilt...I think, at least.

I would have loved little stuffed dinosaurs as a kid. But, your second kid sounds like my second kid. He has a temper and he's stubborn to boot...reminds me of my wife...hahahaha

I now have a headache. I guess perhaps too much sugar might have brought this one on.
