Yes indeed, I think it should be a serious crime to run out of chocolate. A very serious crime.......

GAH!!! This election is too close for comfort IMO...I can't handle my life right now...
The only thing I remember from High School Government class is that if you don't vote D or R you are throwing your vote away...I don't know why that stuck with me but it did. I have a friend who was all about the Libertarian party this year and I just...don't understand it. Can you enlighten me, those of you who voted 3rd party? Is it a principle thing?
Because sometimes its just more fun that way!
Oh no!! Well I had a granola bar that had chocolate chips in it... but its just not the same. Daughter send me a pic of the piece of cake her hubby got her for her birthday today... he got her a big slice of red velvet cake!! No fair!!! I want some!
So...i'm off to Canada...who's with me!
This is not a surprise. It really could not have turned out any other way. I am surprised anyone truly believed that it could.
Ah.... so you listened to the Man? lol.
Imo, you are never throwing away your vote when you vote on principle. I am fiercely independent and will always remain so. No one speaks for me, but me. The two party system sucks....
As Mark Twain said, "Look at the tyranny of party -- at what is called party allegiance, party loyalty -- a snare invented by designing men for selfish purposes -- and which turns voters into chattles, slaves, rabbits, and all the while their masters, and they themselves are shouting rubbish about liberty, independence, freedom of opinion, freedom of speech, honestly unconscious of the fantastic contradiction..."
Well..I'm done for tonight..i'm disappointed but life goes on. I look forward to my hockey game tomorrow and will just move on.
I usually vote for a third-party candidate because then I can say that I voted, but I didn't vote for whatever buffoon gets in office. Plus, I think the third-party candidates deserve a lot more recognition than they get.
It really wouldn't surprise me though, if the election was already decided before the first ballot was cast.

Leave the porch light on, I'm on my way over!!!
Lol.
ooooh!!!!
I voted Independent.... coz I'm actually registered as Independent.
Punishable by... MORE CHOCOLATE!
It would appear so.
For me it was principal. Seriously, there were things I liked and things I disliked of both. But there wasn't one particular one that stood out in my mind as being any better than the other. Both are died in the wool politicians, both lied about various things to various degrees.
So essentially my vote was "none of the above."
Yup... we are so far under we will never see daylight again no matter what.
Indeed. Tomorrow the sun will rise, life will go on...![]()
