insomniatic sentimentality: I've suddenly become overwhelmed by VMK-related nostalgia and longing. that game was the best. I kind of gradually stopped playing it on my own, so I wasn't too upset by its closing because by then I hadn't logged in in months, but now I feel rather crushingly sad about not being able to access my little avatar! I would love to hang out in virtual Main Street again with my seagull hat and decked out pins.



and a bonus memory: I remember I traded literally everything I owned (a ton of not-quite rare or valuable things) for a pair of mickey sorcerer ears (omg mega rare). I proudly wore those things for one day. the next day they were rereleased for the first time since the site's beta. lol.

I called my son, Phillip, to wish him a happy birthday, but he didn't pick up the phone. Not sure if he is working today, or perhaps it is one of the days where he sleeps during the daytime hours. We should have made birthday plans with him. He's 45 years old today. I have wonderful memories of the day he was born. Where have all the years gone to?

Today I am thankful for my nicely air conditioned house. I can crochet, and I don't have to deal with the high outside temperatures. It might hit triple digitis today.

And yes, Pengy, being a mom is beyond a full time job in and of itself. I figure with being a mom to 8, homeschooling 6 of them, driving the kids to all their activities, and now Macys, I have 3 full time jobs. Yay me.
