And its morning..... I understand the coast is getting rain.... haven't even looked outside here yet but I know we won't get any of it. Then again since I have to work all day it would be a perfect day to get some rain since I can't enjoy it!
Kathy got home at 1 a.m. last night. I am surprised that they drove home that quickly. They must have been flying down the highway. Anyway, now life gets back to a little bit more normal.
Today they are having a surprise 60th birthday party for my brother in law. My husband is going with my older son, and my tenant was invited as well. They are also picking up my grandson and his girlfriend. I have decided to stay home, and get a few needed things done around the house. Besides our car isn't big enough for that many people.
Time for breakfast.

It's cold and icky here today, looks like it may rain. Would be lovely if it didn't make me sleepy and give me no desire to go to work lol.

My day was very weird. I printed out the directions for my husband to drive to his brother's party. However, we got lost, and we never made it there. My son and grandson were disappointed that we never made it there. I just feel my husband's heart was not in it. He hates driving. He should have studied the directions better that I googled for him. We also should have left a whole lot earlier. I hate driving to the suburbs. Next time I plan on staying home, and I stick with my plan. I got absolutely nothing accomplished, and I just feel so bad for the mishap.

Hello all! Busy but not insane day.
We got no rain at all. A bit of wind, but no rain.
Daughter sent me a text that it was in the 40's, she had a window open and was sitting in her bath wrap eating ice cream.
Sometimes I wonder if she really is mine but then I remember her father is the same way.
Sorry your day was messed up Barbara.... hope tomorrow is better.

WE HAVE RAIN!!! It's glorious!!! I'm gonna go run around in it now! Partly because I can, and partly because I left stuff upstairs so I have to go out to get to it anyway lol.
Happy Monday. I overslept this morning. I guess I was more tired than I thought. So, I guess I'll listen to my body. My brain is obviously telling it something. My husband has been very tired lately. I think his new medicine is doing that to him. Although he always says that he doesn't get much sleep, despite all the snoring I hear.
Sean starts school in one more week.

Monday! Not going to say happy because.... Looks like I'll be headed to the hospital this afternoon. The day tech called off and the night tech is staying over until I get there. I said I'd come in at one which would mean the night tech would of done an 18 hour shift.... but I think I'll try to get there a bit early. So.... not sure when I'll see you kiddles again!
