Hey Rex!

I read a lot of threads. I certainly have read a lot of negative opinions on a lot of things over the years. However, when I walk through the turnstiles at Disneyland, and DCA, I always have a marvelous time. Those things, I read, are just that. Things I have read. They are not my experiences. I have a motto. If I don't have fun on vacation, then it is my own fault.

Now, I understand how my Disneyland trips are vacations, where many others are only there for a day's outing. However, I like to make up my own mind about things.

I have asked for advice, of course, and have been given a lot of good advice over the years. I know that Disneyland is not perfect. For me, it is a happy place, away from the every day place that is loaded with responsibilities. Everyone deserves to getaway, have fun, and forget their troubles.

Some day, I'll make a Halloween Season trip to Disneyland, and I won't care at all what the other folks are saying. I'll be having too much fun enjoying myself.

I try to keep the same attitude. I figure if I'm at Disneyland, that means I'm not at work and what could be better than not being at work!

I have 4 or 5 crowns, 2 root canals, and one tooth completely gone. All went well, whatever they use works good on me.

One time though, they hit a nerve or something with the needle; man that hurt!!!

Oh ouch! I've been lucky to not need a lot of work done. I had a lot of years between dental visits. I mean... a lot. Up until 3 or 4 years ago when I had my wisdom teeth pulled out and started going to the dentist on a regular basis... LBJ was the president the last time I was at a dentist....

My Disneyland trip planning is not going so well as I had hoped...

Clara! Glad the dentist went well! I look forward to hearing about Halloween at Disneyland! I was so hoping I could make it down since its been a long time since I've been to the park for Halloween time...

And I really want to hear about Saturday! I've never been to one of their shows either but from the ones I've seen on tv... wow!

I would do a report and put it on MC but the tickets say "no cameras/recorders"...

Thanks Micro At this point I have 3 porcelein crowns (which replaced silver crowns about 9 years ago) and over 10 fillings. At my last visit (which I've marked as the worst dentist visit ever), they replaced a silver filling with a white filling, so they had to pull out the silver filling which had been in there since I was teenager (I'm going to be 36 in December) and they couldn't get me numb enough! They kept hitting something that got me jumping and all tense. Finally, after FOUR numbing shots..my mouth was puffy and numb and I could relax. But I was already all shooken up. Today, I was nervous again and they had to numb me three times. And that was just to get the permanent crown on! No drilling nothing. I'm just Wimpy McWimps.

Oh and I tried on my halloween costume tonight...all I can say is wow..can my step-grandma sew! and my mom made my hat....did an awesome job!
