    Hello everyone.

Warm today, about 70 or so.

I changed the brakes on my daughters car (2002 Toyota MR2), it took me a while longer than usual.

Every other brakes I've ever changed, when the cylinder is expanded out to accomodate the new pads, you just pry or clamp it and it slowly moves into position. Not this time. It just wouldn't budge.

Turns out this type is threaded and needs to be screwed back in.

The first wheel took me about an hour, the others about 20 minutes.

    Learn something new every day.....

    Lol.

It was 90 degrees here today.

And I learned that not all bikini wax products are the same.

    lol.

Both of those things I never knew, and never will have to know ever in my lifetime.

Errr....ummmm......just exactly how did this knowledge come about......

    Lol.

Seriously though, I imagine it's just like anything else; there are a few good ones and a lot of cheap imitations.

well....um... let's just say hot wax is well.... hot. And super sticky (which is of course the point, but...)

Stupid roll on applicator didn't quite work the way it was supposed to and well....after a struggle I had to improvise....

But it all turned out well in the end. And smooth, lol.

What a weird thing to read reviews for online. But that's what I'm doing now, lol.

I can't even imagine how much that would hurt......

On a sort of related note, my Daughter and her friends have gotten those roll on sticky paper things that you remove lint with, and the other day the cat had one of the discarded paper strips stuck to its fur.

It now has kind of a bald spot........

    Poor cat.

Lol! Poor cat! But that's the idea.... It can hurt, but not as much as childbirth, lol.

I am out of practice. It's been a long time. But now I am back in shape (or getting there, so.... )

I am too cheap, or lazy to go to a salon. So,I thought I would try a new product, but as with most things, the good old fashioned way is the best.

And now you know more than you wanted to about bikini waxing.

Time will tell, but I seem to remember just about every year around here it's 60 or 70 right up 'till Halloween night. Then it's about 30 or so, and often snows.

I feel sorry for all the kids, but they're having too much fun to notice.

Sad part about Halloween is now that my kids are all grown up, there's no more free candy for me.

Oh, and I hate snow. But if it's enough to get classes cancelled, then I love snow.

I know how much you love candy!

I saw these Almond Joy Pieces at the grocery store the other day and thought of you.

I shall send you a plastic pumpkin full of candy.... but you must dress up in costume for me.

I'm sure it was, but I would not like to be one to witness that kind of thing happening.
