Well, she maybe could spend slightly less money.......

Of course, I would certainly NEVER spoil her at all.....

Seriously, once in a while I'll tell her no when she wants something, just to see how she reacts. If she takes it in stride, she gets lots of stuff. If she doesn't handle no very well, she hears it a lot more.

I think she's figured this out.....

    Lol.
You spoil her Rob, nah not you

Your a good guy too, and no doubt an awesome father.

That's funny that you tell her no just to see what her reaction is. The abuse of power Ehh, it builds character for her too. That and teaches her not to be too sensitive and that sometimes in life we don't always get what we want. Your daughter sounds like a great kid.

Seriously, these are the most special times I have ever had. Just her and I. We talk about anything. I'm never her parent on these dates, I'm her friend.

The bond has stood the test of time, and I'm pretty much convinced that because of this she'll ask my advice on just about anything. And actually listen!!!
    That is just so cool!

Its one of the most frustrating and trying things you can ever do... but one of the most rewarding at the same time.

    This is absolutely true!!

Sometimes the rewards are a bit distant, but well worth it.

true...I just worry to much. I try to make up for the fact that I couldn't give my child a decent father. So I feel sometimes I try to make it up to him...although he really doesn't know any better.

I think as far as single parents go, mother/son or father/daughter is easier than mother/daughter or father/son.

As much as I love my boys, there's something special about my daughter. Even at a very young age.

Ok you guys, it's getting late, well, late for me anyhow......

I've heard this before. I've also heard that boys are easier than girls...and praying that is true. Becuase to date...my kid is insane and won't be still!

I will say that the relationship is totally different between father/daughter over father/son. One of my good friends had a daughter a few months ago and he is TOTALLY different to her than his sons. He has this special look in his eye when he holds her and talks to her. It's really cute.

    See ya Rob, sleep well.
