Re: The Music Lovers "One Song Per Day" Thread

Of many Jim Croce favorites, this is my very favorite.

The line...She's living in LA, with my best old ex-friend Ray...guy she said she knew well and sometimes hated.

One of the great lyric lines of all time.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Bread is one of my all-time favorite groups.

I am so out of the loop. I didn't even know that "Bread" was the name of a group until just today.

Lead vocals by Bruce Johnston, who replaced Glen Campbell as the "phantom" Beach Boy after Brian quit touring in the sixties. He also made millions by writing "I Write the Songs" for Barry Manilow.

I've loved this song since it came out, some of the weirdest sound effects. Catchy, and the music video may give you nightmares.

I met Bruce one night at the Grand Californian. How's that for full circle?

Here's one of those happy sounding songs that are really a sad song. Creepy video too.

Theme song from a TV show I really liked.
