i dont like graveyard shifts at all. its terrible and sort of unhealthy too. i have done it before but i hope to not do that ever again. (shrivers).

I'm really ticked off at how that thread has turned. It makes me feel bad for posting holiday treat pics at all but someone requested it so I wanted to help! Way to shove it back in my face!

I put up my Xmas decorations a bit early.



I know, wait until Thanksgiving is over but they were spilling out of my closet and I'm starting to box things up for my move so I just decided to pull them out and just put them up. I'm glad I did though, put me in a good mood

I spy penguins!!!!

I still have to do a lot of cleaning before I can put anything up. I usually wait until after Thanksgiving... I think last year I had the tree up because the kids came down for Thanks giving and I wanted it up for them.

I'm really ticked off at how that thread has turned. It makes me feel bad for posting holiday treat pics at all but someone requested it so I wanted to help! Way to shove it back in my face!

Thats why I was so pissed off.... it was just pictures of fun deserts. Who gives a rats patooty how much they are? We all know Disney is over priced... big deal! The point of the thread was just do see the food porn, since Disney always does such a nice job of decorating the stuff. It should not of turned into a political discussion about prices... and I may yet privately spank the parties involved for turning an otherwise happy, fun thread into a discussion about the merits of the prices Disney charges.

So don't let it get you down Clara! You did nothing wrong in posting the pictures you did! The prices are what they are...

Ok just a peek in for now. Cousin should be here soon and we're going to work on a baby blanket for her grand child that is going to be born next spring. Have to admit, I'm a bit jealous she will be a grandma before me... *sigh*

So I've been sucked into another forum, based in Morocco, where I get to practice my French language skills. It's fun, and I am learning a lot there. Right now I am conversing with someone whose French is as broken as mine, but her first language is Arabic, so it's making the conversation interesting as we each try to figure out what the other one is trying to say...

My mom is rearranging the house so we can put up our Christmas stuff on Black Friday. That is something of a tradition with us. But in the meantime the house is tore up.

So glad it is a short work week this week! Especially since I will be working solo for most of it. I mean, I'll have some student workers, but that's it.

i just saw that this morning.. seriously i want to give someone a high five in their face with a chair now..and i don't tolerate stuff like that, well i do, but this time i didn't. That was uncalled for and i hope to not see it again in that thread i made, that was not the point about prices being as they are. and CLARA i wrote a special note for you in that thread don't worry girl! you keep posting your photos if you like prices showing or not, we don't care.i don't care. AND SINCE I don't put up for such shenanigans like that, i did write a post to all, and used the two posts that got me irked as a example. so forgive me peguinsoda.

but i am very impressed with the photos that were posted so far!! it was really awesome to see that!!

Seriously, I'm a single mother...have been "struggling" here in the crappy state of California (economy wise) for 8 years as a single mother. I've lost jobs, not once, not twice..but well over 3 times...
When I go to Disneyland..I budget, especially around the holidays that if my kid wants a treat...I will let him have it. If I don't have the funds that particular trip, I let him know. I haven't raised a spoiled whiny kid but one who understands what a dollar stands for.

This whole pricing on food thing is nothing but whiny spoiled people who go "wa-wa' because Disney is priced higher. OF COURSE THEY CHARGE MORE... they are Disney and they can!

You were NOT out of line and unless they are private messaging you that you were out of line only that one person said it and frankly, THEY were out of line.

Most of us wanted a Holiday fun and festive treat thread and that is what we intended it to be...but some people really just ruin it for others.

i am sure that if we had a thread about holiday ornaments or those ornament lovers they'd all go post their photos there of ornaments....

Until those people went in THAT thread saying "wow! why is Disney charging THAT much for one ornament!"

ON A BRIGHTER NOTE!!

tomorrow is the DAY!! tomorrow i hit the parks all day long with my cousin. i got my 19 packs of batteries and 200 memory cards ready for my camera!! just kidding i only got on memory card, i already had another. and only about 4 packs of batteries! and we are going to have lunch at naples.. and i am super duper excited, MY FRIEND chris is coming.. not a love interest or anything, just a friend.. he is my awesome girly friend if you catch my drift... anyhow soo we were just discussing how it feels like we have never been to disneyland and this is our 1st time going.. but i told him it could be cause it's xmas and we love the resort during xmas time!! and he is super excited cuase he has never really been to the park before noon..LOL LOL

so my cousin flies in today at noon ,and tonight she will be at my house for our disney sleep over!!! and we are going to braid each others hair and do a pillow fight.. just kidding! LOL no but we are going to coordinate our outfits i am sure..and then get to bed super early cause i am not a morning person and we have to get up at like 6 am just to get to the park before 8am!
