The "room" talk brings to mind an early Beach Boy classic, which reflected Brian Wilson's view of the world as a youngster with with an abusive father.

I love that song, and have for about 50 years now.

    How is everyone?

    Hey Barry!

I'm alright. Just now realizing that I didn't do anything productive this weekend. And I could have, but I spent the time chatting online, sleeping, and decorating...

    How are y'all tonight?

I am still on the right side of the dirt, so I am fine!

    And your trees are magnificent!

Yeah!!! Trees!!! I haven't put anything up yet. Well... I put the wreath hanger on the door, thats about it. Its been a chill day here. Pretty much did nothing but tosses a load of laundry in. Tomorrow, I really need to start getting some stuff done.

Ok, I have to ask; how much did everyone spend this weekend? How about black friday?

I spent about $200, mostly car parts. I also spent a good part of the weekend working on said cars.

My daughter spent about the same, mostly on Christmas decorations for the house. This is the first time we've decorated the house in several years. It's kinda cool......

I spent a lot. Almost all of my Christmas shopping is done. I just have to buy a gift for my oldest son and then my shopping will be complete.

    Ha! Great question!

Well it was my first Black Friday and I went to Kohl's when they opened at 12am on Thursday night/Friday morning. I was shopping until 2:30 am

I spent a total of $502. But I ended up returning some items so the actual total was about $437. But I did get Kohl's Cash of $100.

But my Xmas shopping is all done and I got a ton of great odds and ends I needed. It was a great first time for me.

It's always east to shop for my oldest son, he's an electrician too. Electrical tools......

My daughter on the other hand; since I buy her a ton of stuff during the year, there's not much left at Christmas time.
