Hmmm there is...uh..ahem..more to this story but I agree with the bolded....I would act this way with someone to if I was interested...like what's bolded. That is how I am. When I'm with someone they are my all. But I haven't been with anyone in almost 10 years so I feel like a dunce.

But you are wisely putting a lot of energy into raising your boy. Believe me, it'll pay off in ways you'll never know.

But yes, there's still an empty hole in your heart, fairly small most of the time, but still there. We as humans will always have a longing for a close relationship with another human. That's how we're designed. And you (like me) feel the emptiness once in a while. So it's only natural to feel not-so-hot when a potential relationship seems to be going nowhere.
