Yeah, I can imagine the disappointment, but don't give up; there's someone out there for you.

Me, after my wife of 25 years passed away 7 years ago, I decided to not risk screwing up raising my daughter (11 at the time), and now that she's 18, I'm kinda on the fence. After being single for 7 years, I may very well have made myself unfit for marriage.

But I know all about that loneliness that digs at your heart. All humans have a need for companionship; you and I are no different.

I'm kinda at a loss here, while I have a lot to offer a gal, I'm not sure.......

well rob, its not that companionship, but i feel like my "marriage clock" is ticking away and i am going to miss the boat, the older i get it just seems harder..its like going to a sale at Macy's when u read all the good shoes are on sale, then you get their and darn it ur too late they all got sold.. and ur left with no options but you need shoes so what you going to do? lol

I got a GREAT ontario Reign hockey game in! It went into an over time shoot out and we won! We had ice seats and I was freezing my butt off!

I'd like to say that a gal at 33 has a way better chance than an over-the-hill guy at 56 has, but we are kinda in the same boat.

One thing I have noticed over the years though is that most of the 'good ones' were at one time or another, not so good. It seems that their partner (guy or gal) had the patience it took to allow them to become one of the good ones.

Of course, not actually living with the good ones, and only seeing part of their personality, it's hard to say if they're actually good or not.

I dunno, I can easily figure out just about any machine, no matter how complex, but close relationships sorta throw me for a loop.

but then again u gotta deal with finding your "size".. u gotta "try on" millions of pairs and when u finally find the one pair that fits someone else snatches them before you get a chance to do a test run...
